Vamos JCF
He was really hitting the forehand hard today. Tursunov was too, except most were hitting the fence instead of the court. Absolutely no patience, which you need on clay.

What was this? Signs of the "pre-chicken-pox king of clay" or a weak opponent?

What a beating. I am not surprised at the win, but I thought that Tursunov would put up some kind of resistance. In any case, there's a good reason why he has only won 3 or 4 ATP level matches on clay.

Ferrero hardly missed a 1st serve. Maybe this will build up his confidence.

Yep. Apart from a few games at the start of the second set, he clearly didn't really want to grind it out and work some rallies. He whacked it as hard as he could and if it went in, it went in and if it didn't, it didn't.

I was glad JC was hitting his forehand really hard though (when the rallies were long enough )

Talk about overreacting, Tursunov sucks on clay, Ferrero should of won this.

Any similarity between JCF´s fh nowadays to the old times one is purely cointidential.

Isn't that usually how Tursunov plays?
