* slamless player and not being top-10 while wining and without weeks in top-10 too.
Here is my list:
1. Fognini - definitely can win RG. Great clay game and scary peak.
2. Isner - well, USO is his best chance. Also he owns Djokovic. (forgot he was top-10)
3. Albert Ramos - excellent forehand and very high IQ. Expect him to be a dark horse at RG.
4. Tomaz Bellucci - has all the weapons to be a RG champ.
5. Dolgopolov - has a GOAT peak level and also owns Djoker and Nadal.
6. Janowicz - he is a modern Safin. Safin won two slams. So why JJ can't?
Kyrgios, without too much having to go his way. He has the confidence and his game can develop a lot and quickly.
Monfils. He has all the experience in the world and could pull a Johansson or Korda type slam win, but a lot would need to go right for him, like it did for them.
Gulbis- certainly has the x-factor and the game. Just needs a bit of confidence.
Zverev- Could pull a Kuerten type run.
Og course, all these guys would have to play out of their minds to win a slam considering how strong the current bunch at the top are, but just look at Cilic's run not that long ago. All the above have the potential to tap into something inspirational and redline, like Cilic did, and though tennis might look predictable right now, things can change very, very quickly at the top.

Between Albert Ramos winning RG and janowicz being described as a modern day Safin I just couldn't bring myself to read past the 5th post of this thread.
I guess the fact you can't choose someone who has spent at least one week within the top-10 makes my point invalid but...
I was going to say, you know, I think Kevin Anderson does have the weapons to pull off a Cilic-esque run at WB/USO. Chances are below 10%, but which player outside top-10 has more than, let's say, 5% chances of winning a Grand Slam? Also Monfils comes to my mind but I reckon he has already been into the top-10. Out of the OP's names, Fognini is the one with the highest likelyhood, but he's mentally too volatile to keep his level up for 2 weeks, so I don't really think he'll be even able to play for the title.
So for me, and taking that week he spent within the top-10 away from him:
Tier-1: Anderson
Tier-2: Thiem, Tomic (Domi with a good shot on clay, and Bernard because he's simply the GOAT)
Tier-3: Kyrgios, Goffin (the clear lacking of a dangerous shot from Goffin puts him in Tier-3, if he could only make any of his shots bigger I'd probably put him in Tier-1)
