Seven of the top ten playing in Sao Paulo, only #1 Chung, #5 Bhambri and #6 Millman missing, but not surprising that they aren't travelling to the other side of the world to play on clay. WC to Clezar for the third year in a row, who in last year's semi-final beat Estrella Burgos 7-6(4) 6-7(0) 7-6(12) in the Challenger match of the year
I'm surprised to see Dustov play here. I hoped there would be more withdrawals, so Andrej Martin could play here, he definitely made a push for it as he went for the South American clay swing, making him skip his home tournament at Bratislava.
As for the tournament, it could be really close, I like Pella's form lately but from the group A Lorenzi looks like being the favourite followed by Cervantes. Clezar could also receive some big support from the crowd and guide him out of the groups. Tough one to call, I'll just go with Pella
As i am a bit of obsessed by 1hbh's, i would pick up Cecchinato. He is actually the second youngest one-hander in top-100 and, i think, even in top-200 (at least he was 2 months ago).
