In "Best Grand Slam Matches of the Open Era" thread I noticed a bias towards latest matches so this time I decided to ask you about the current era. It's not time to ask about the best match of the decade so I decided to concentrate on Big3 matches. Unfortunately we probably will not see many great matches between them in the future but I still hope for at least one or two classics. This thread is a tribute to Big3 era and I hope you will find in the poll your favourite encounters
Regarding all-time.... 2006 W, 2007 W, 2007 USO, are some that come to my mind. 2011 FO SF and 2012 W SF are some other ones too. Oh and of course 2007 AO 4th round, 2008 and 2009 USO SFs were great too. I also enjoyed matches like 2009 Madrid F, 2005 Miami F, 2009/2012/2015 Cincinnati Fs, 2006 and 2007 WTF SFs, and 2011 WTF RR match too, plus of course the 2010 WTF final itself. There are others too but these 16 were good for me as long as Rogie won (i.e. also 2007 Hamburg F). But the truth is even Rogie's losses to Djokovic and Rafa and Rafa/Djokovic matches were classics too. For me any time these guys face off it's a classic (even if the match is a complete blowout) because these three guys will likely finish in the top 5 all-time for greatest male tennis players.
Argh, these were all great. Gonna go with Wimbledon 2008 for combination of great level + epic drama. Probably not the very highest level on it's own but the drama has never been repeated imo.
My personal fave is the 2013 French open SF. That's the match that made mea Nadal fan,I love that match. But the best mach ever in my opinion is the Wimbledon 2008 final.
Nadal/Federer Wimbledon in 2008 signaled a changing of the guard and an end to Federer's unreal level of dominance. From that point on, Roger was mortal and Nadal carried a mental edge on him for the rest of his career.
In fact, 2005 Miami was the only time Rogie was down 0-2 to Rafa and won sets 3-5 (Rogie barely won the 3rd set tiebreak, 7-5, and then dominated sets 4 and 5). There was NEVER a time Rafa was down 0-2 and came back to beat Rogie in sets 3-5. I know you can say Rafa wasn't even 19 yet, but he was about to become a great already (look at 2005, 11 titles, 12 finals going 11-1, the lone finals loss to Rogie). 2005 was when Rafa won his first grand slam and was already a clay beast. I always felt this match was a classic.
2013 FO semi was awful. Novak has never played so poorly on clay, hitting over 70 UE. The fact he would have won if not for the net touch says it all though!
2007 Wimbledon final, 2011 U.S. Open final are two of the best. Hard to vote for the best Djokovic vs Fed match, they have had so many classics.

The stadium, the crowd, the title, the players, the level, the drama (Nole could have won this in 4 while Rafa could have won the fifth), the lenght, the result.
Except that significant parts of the match were rather dull. Basically only end of the first 4 sets were interesting, because we wanted to know who would win the sets. Then ofc, the 5th set was epic due to the length of the match.
