Indian Wells splits the 2nd round matches (where the seeds come into it) over Saturday & Sunday, & our coverage always begins with the 3rd round matches (except of course this year).
Miami is worse - 2nd round is split over the Friday & Saturday, 3rd round split over Sunday & Monday. As our coverage will as usual be starting with Monday's play, we miss the entire 2nd round and half the third. So in 2004, I missed both of Federer's matches, last year, was lucky with the scheduling in that he played his third round match on Monday. I would guess it's a money issue.
