Why is there so much hate on this forums. What is the point of it.
Predictions without any arguments don't make any sense, and it is waste of time to read or write them.
What is the last time Federer and Djokovic met in Shangai? What decided outcome of this matches? What is the difference today compared to last two times when Federer won without dropping a set?
Once I would have this informations, I would be able to at least start puzzling about the outcome.
not true, utter bs, Djokovic after the USO SF loss won Beijing, Paris, and London (Rogie did withdraw in the F, but still a win). His ONLY loss post USO was to Rogie in the 2014 Shanghai SF. Rogie was just too good on that day.
Yes but his wife gave birth a few days after Shanghai. It's not ridiculous to suggest that his mind was elsewhere and he wasn't crisp. And he wasn't as he didn't play good.
Keep in mind though that Nole was FORCED to play and win Paris. The number 1 was on the line otherwise Federer would've been a Wozniacki.
When you know you cannot outlast your opponent in a 5 sets match, your confidence/mental strength dips.
One of the reasons Nadal was so "mentally tough" was that he knew he could always outlast his opponents due to his super stamina. Now that his stamina dips ever slightly, so does his so called "mental strength".
Sure, he could stop him. Hard to say at this point. It depends mostly on how motivated Djokovic is to win. I just hope that Novak wins the WTF again (or both Shanghai and Paris). That way his 2015 season will surpass his 2011 (at least in my eyes).
Djokovic's season looks so incredibly successful that I don't think he's interested in something else except the WTF until the end of the year. That's why Federer has a great chance in Shanghai and Paris, but in London he will be punished for last year's meanness.
Of course Fed can stop Nole in Shanghai. He did it before.
I'm not sure how motivated Novak will be in China. He clinched #1 already, won 3 majors and 'gazillions' of masters, every freaking big tournament he entered he reached the final this year.
If I was him I'd come up with same lame injury excuse, skip all tournaments and show up for the WTF in London .
Agree, he should concentrate on WTF with maybe one event as a warm-up. I also feel he'll be mentally fatigued. But he's playing an exhibition in Thailand with Nadal so he'll probably go to China tournaments after it.
Well it's that boring time of the year again. Now that the slams are out of the way we have to focus on the time pass events. I'm pretty sure losing to Fed at Shanghai isn't going to give Djokovic sleepless nights. Heck I'm pretty sure even Fed deep down knows no wins from now until next year's slams will account for the 2 finals that matter this year.
If Federer plays wells then Thugovic has no chance. It's a fast HC and Djokovic is not a talented enough shot maker to win on fast HCs against Federer if Rogie is playing well. And Shanghai has a roof which means that should it rain, the final won't be postponed till night time when the conditions are slower so Faker won't get that slice of luck in Shanghai.
Yeah, Djokovic is not talented at playing anywhere but you are talented at trolling and knowing shit about tennis. How is your gf Hanna stupid banana doing? I hope everything is well. You know that movie 'dumb and dumber'?
If Fed plays 'wells' ... too good .
If Djokovic plays 'wells' Fed doesn't have a chance.
Fuck, so many stupid people on this board and they are mulitplaying like rats.
Last time Djokovic had a three-slam season he completely disapparead after the US Open. Will be inteersting to see if something similar happens this time.
The speed of the Shanghai court should ensure Federer is the favourite if both of them are on their game, but neither are assured to be at this stage of the season. We could easily see a final without either of them imo.
Maybe Federer wins this, after all he's become quite the expert at bo3 matches, in any event we know he ain't winning any more GS titles (and that's really what it's all about)..
To paraphrase my Cincy final prediction - Federer to win in 2, making their Wimbledon and USO matches even more hilarious in retrospect and giving fedtards more false hope for Australia.

Novak should just take care of defending his points from last year ,he already sealed his no.1 spot for 2015.
