Re: Roddick Withdraws from Las Vegas Tournament

Good for Andy! He can get some rest and get his head together.

So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle.

Re: Roddick Withdraws from Las Vegas Tournament

he's probably red-faced with embarrassment from losing to guys so far that he's not supposed to lose to...

and considering that it could've been florian mayer on the other side of the net in rd1, it won't be surprising if andy lost to him as well...

Will be interesting to see if they can get the crowds they would be hoping for without him.

As long as Haas doesn't withdraw either, there should be enough interest among the US tennis fans. They simply like Tommy

Re: Roddick Withdraws from Las Vegas Tournament

He should have never entered in the first place.
its called over scheduling andy!

i mean he really needs to plan better...imagine if he had lasted longer in his last 2 tournaments (on top of davis cup) that would have been a real reason to claim fatigue/weariness.

Great! This means Paul Capdeville can make it into the main draw even if he looses.

that's wrong, because Roddick withdrew with anticipation, and Hewitt took his place as a first seed and then, the first player on alt list enters on the main draw. The info that appear in emol.com is totally wrong, I tried to contact with admins or editors of emol.com for warn to them, but I couldn´t.

Paul NEEDS to win against Vemic for a place in the main draw

No, I think Paul is in as the lucky loser.

Glad Andy is taking a break - he does need to get his head together. Poor kid.
