At the end of the match - just before the presentations, - this guy ran onto the court. He was quite fat, middle aged, wore a frilly pink tutu and had something like "new balls" written on his chest. He did a kind of streak around the auditorium and the security guards had a job to catch him. It was all a bit silly and quite fun - and totally harmless - guess he was either drunk or did it for a dare! It certainly made Radek ad Christophe Rochus laugh. I'm sure Getty Images or somewhere will have photos a bit later on.

As I said - that moment was far more entertaining than the match!! The crowd certainly made more noise cheering ballerina man than they had during play!

Re: Ballerina man interrupts Stepanek's speech

It's the same guy that interrupt a match between Davenport and Pierce in RG last year?

A post that deserves to be on MTF Hall of Fame soon:

Re: Ballerina man interrupts Stepanek's speech

Funny on one hand. But not on the other.

I hate to see security so lax that this could happen.

There are nuts out there as we saw with the Monica Seles tragedy.

I want guys protected, and can live without the laughs.

Obviously this guy was harmless. But someone else might not be.
