The 10 BEST records in finals (at least 5 matches, active players only)

Code:
Rank Player Finals played Finals won Winning %
1	Nadal 14 12 85,71%
2	Davydenko 6 5 83,33%
3	Federer 44 35 79,55%
4	T. Johansson 12 9 75,00%
4	Schalken	12 9 75,00%
6	Enqvist 26 19 73,08%
7	Kuerten 29 20 68,97%
8	Agassi 90 60 66,67%
9	Roddick 30 20 66,67%
10	Hewitt 37 24 64,86%
P.S: Number of matches was used as a tie-break criteria between Agassi and Roddick (the more number of matches, more representative the percentage is).

Schalken in equal 4th place! I'm surprised I didn't know this, obviously when he's been in finals he hasn't wasted the opportunity too often. Thanks very much, Shotgun. I'll bet not many people expected to see Kolya's name interposed between Nadal and Federer....

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

Nadal lost to Hrbaty in Auckland.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Machado wins 6-2 6-1
