I wish that were true, and sometimes it is, but if it was a rule then I would have suffered a lot less pain from him in the last few years. The number of times I have been kicked in the teeth by the gap between expectation and reality in a Henman match... mind you, I gain some schadenfreude
from seeing our presumptuous and complacent commentators go through exactly the same process as they realise what's happening.
