I know I'm jumping ahead, but looks like this matchup will happen. Your thoughts?

Re: Roddick vs. Baghdatis: AO Rd. 16

This is Baggy's Grand Slam breakthrough. He can beat Roddick, plus his greek/cypriot/australian supporters will give the Duck pretty crap during the whole match.

I've never seen Baghdatis play, does he have such a solid game that he can beat Andy?

Re: Roddick vs. Baghdatis: AO Rd. 16

I am sure Baghdatis will make a nice match, but the chance of seeing an upset is small. Now Marcos is a sort of "miniFed" gamewise, so...

PS: This one could be fun to bump is Roddick loses... but yeah it won't happen unless he injures himself!

Good luck to: King Roger, Marat, Andre, Guga, Tim

Queen Justine, Daniela, Elena, Jelena, Tatiana, Babsi, Manu and Timea!

"I was pretty nice to the racket all last week. I was surprised how easy it broke. Maybe there is something wrong with it, or I'm too strong." Goran Ivanisevic.

Not sure how he will handle Andy's serve, may be the key to this, but when he is hot he is quite a shotmaker!

Should be very exciting and the crowd should enjoy this match very much but I can not see Roddick being beaten.

Andy is breezing through this. He has shown with the last three matches that he can compete with Federer, which scares me. I should add that none of these players are ANY where close to Federers calibre. But you can tell that Andy has worked hard during the off season.

What makes you think that?

I guess Roddick must be the greatest player to ever play the game.

Well, I don't know. If Hewitt is saying the courts are playing slower than the French Open.

I agree that it is obvious that Andy has worked hard during his off season, however, I'm not sure he would be a challenge to Roger. Let's wait and see how he is against Ljubicic.

He has a huge challenge ahead no doubt, but I'm definetly not counting him out like others have done. I think Andy has the determination to win, something I felt he lacked at Wimbledon. He's been amazing the past three matches. Regardless of the outcome, if there is a final between Roger and Andy, its garaunteed to be a good one.

I don't think it is a lack of determination that prevented Andy from winning Wimbledon. I believe he did want to win Wimbledon; however, Roger played an unbelieveably fantastic match in that final. Andy at his very best would not have been good enough to beat Roger on that day.

Re: Roddick vs. Baghdatis: AO Rd. 16

Roddick should win, but with the way Baghdatis has been playing, he easily could take the 'upset' if Andy is off his game even a little (mentally or physically).
