Let him make it 11 by the end of 2016 and then we can start to write some Sci-Fi essays about him reaching 14.
No one but his Serbian fans and Uniqlo want him as a slam winner, meaning his slam draws would be as difficult as when he was no.3 behind the Fedal and Fedal's as easy as was back then when they were no.1, 'cause that's the only way Fedal can win another slam or two in the next two years and it's still Fedal that makes real money to TVs & sponsors and Fedal's sponsors are much more powerfull then Djoker's.
He'll be lucky to fight for his 12th by the end of 2018. with generation 1996+ in full throttle.
What? So if he makes 11 by the end of 2016.. him getting 14 will become sci-fi. why is that because
Coric and rublev and chung will all be 20 years old? get a grip dude.

Such a stupid, ignorant way to look at things.. Djokovic has millions of fans in Asia, not to speak of millions of fans across the world.. and also in Serbia, and Croatia, etc.
Tennis is still breaking Viewership records, and attendance records each year.. despite Novak being on the top.
So your theory fails.
Nadal and Djokovic have basically indentical Net Worth, Djokovic goes home to the people who dont follow tennis..
As they can relate to his "Youtube videos" Neither Nadal nor Federer can beat Djokovic 10.7 Mil views on 1 singel youtube video..
According to you and noone else he would be lucky, here is a newsflash for a bitter guy like you (who apparently noone gives a singel F### about) he will be fighting for his 12th..come AO 2016.
P.S May i recommend some antidepressant.. all your posts are..:bs:
Being married. Let's face it. You are half the man you are when you get married. You are a wild horse being tamed by a woman... being told when to wash the dishes, how to behave outside, who not to look at. Tough to win 18 slams that way
Djokovic will retire in June most likely.
Can you see him continuing with his hopes and dreams being dashed yet again at Roland Garros?
8 slam titles will have to do.
Agassi remains ahead of him due to the Career Grand Slam.
It's a question of probabilities. Djokovic is at least an 80% favourite to win any slam in the next two years at least. So that's likely two more slams this year and three next next year. Likely to get two more the following year and another the year after. If that comes true, that would give him 16 as a likely number. It could end up being more or less than tat, but that's the most likely total by the end of 2018.
I also wouldn't be overly surprised if he won all four slams this year and possibly next.
One can extrapolate from bookie's odds just what the probability of him winning is.
RG: 8/11 - that's a 58% chance of winning. Or in reality a bit less, since bookie's have to make a profit the percentages doesn't add up to 100. Say 55%.
W: 7/4 - that's a 36% chance. Say 34% without the margin.
USO: 13/8 - that's a 38% chance. Say 36%
AO: 11/8 - that's a 42% chance. Say 40%
So the chance of him winning the next four is 0,55 x 0,36 x 0,38 x 0,4 = 3%.
His age. Unfortunately Djoko mugged a lot in 2013 and missed a lot of opportunities for more slams. His health was an issue before 2011 as well. Hopefully he win will at least a few more, but 18 is very unlikely.
People were surprised when Fed won Wimbledon a couple months before he turned 32, having not won a slam since turning 30. Djokovic will be 30 in a few years and he's 'only' had one 3 slam season, last year he only won 1 and he still won 4 masters. Fed had three 3 slam seasons which is why he has such a high slam count, and that was before he was in his late 20s.
It's possible he could win all 4 this year but that would still put him far out of reach of 18, just based on his age (as a previous poster mentioned).
oh come off it guys, anything could happen- Djokovic could decline or get physically damaged, the other top guys could step up again, youngsters could step up, Novak could have personal problems that distract him, Djokovic could play great and still lose in finals, etc. etc. etc.
no slams are guranteed regardless of odds. focus on getting to 10 and then maybe catching up with, Borg, Nadal, whatever, before starting these stupid threads
Decline is inevitable, probably in the next year or so, so 18 Slams is not really on the radar.
The big servers will eventually take over imo at the Slams, but probably not dominate per se.
Still, "let's make hay while the sun shines" - if he could win 3 or 4 in the next 18 months would be absolutely fantastic.
After that, he could concentrate on winning his pet Slam - ie the AO, and 1 other here and there, and keep the numbers ticking.
Seriously though, he'll decline. Not by much over the next few years, but enough that he'll be challenged more than he is now and he'll lose more frequently. Andy will be his biggest threat from the looks of it, despite the run of losses.
If Nole wins FO, Wimbledon, US Open, and AO next year, he has a shot. If he gets only 2 out of 4, he won't make it in time. I don't care how good he is now. Father time waits for no one.
I can see DjokoKing and ClayRay going 50/50 on all the masters next year, with a total of 0 won by Fedal.
Grand Slams, this year all belong to DjokoKing
I think Nole could lose motivation a bit after completing the Career Slam (winning first RG). Unless he wins 4 Slams this year (i.e. does really well to crush all opposition).
Age will stop him. Although it mightn't be all that much to begin with, Djokovic will start having days where things are just a little bit off, his footwork will be that half a step slower etc
That said, I expect him to capitalize for the time being. I wouldn't be at all surprised if he wins three slams this year and at least a couple more next year.
When I see Ferru at 33 running like an energizer rabbit I think Nole has at least 5 more competitive years in him. I still think that number is out of reach but he will be remembered as an all time great regardless .
this is ridiculous... you guys obviously do not understand what it takes to win GS tournament... even if he doesn't win a single slam for the rest of his career, he will be consider as top 15, maybe even top 10 player of open era. that is how monumental task is to win 8 slams. and now you are talking about 18 slams, GS, and all the other silly things that no one has achieved in history...
simple fact that winning 18 slams is beyond human reasoning will stop him.
Can you please name top 14 before Djokovic? I really am intrigued.
