Re: Tim Henman def. Gasquet 6-4 6-4!!!

I was impressed with Henman's performance today. It was very satisfying to see some of the good old vintage flair on display. Onwards to the second round!

Well, barbeque my hamhocks! Your half is gone! Now don't - I say - don't give me no lip, son. You've gotta stick by your bargain. I'd do the same! ....... Well, hog gravy and chitlins! MY half is gone! I-I-I know what you're gonna say son. When two halves is gone there's nuthin' left - and you're right. It's a little ol' worm who wasn't there. Two nuthins is nuthin'. That's mathematics son. You can argue with me but you can't argue with figures. Two half nuthins is a whole nuthin'!

Whats with the emotional attachment? He's barely been around for 12 months.

good match today from Tim. Better than he played in any match last year. Gasquet hit some brilliant shots though.

Some of us have been fans way before Monte-Carlo 05. What a shock, right?

Did Tim come into the net so often during the match? There's no coverage of the tournament here, only Hopman

he came into the net alot. He was very patient because Gasquet kept passing him but he stuck at it.

Well done, Tim.

Hopefully this victory won't go wasted and he'll actually make some noise in this tournament.

Bravo, Tim, Bravo.
