50% is voted by the media, and 50% comes from the public.

It's a bit short view not to name Roger for a great season like that. People in Switzerland will realise that when Roger's done... there will be one Swiss player like that in what, 100, 200 years ?

"I asked a bloke in the front row if he liked the serve-and-volley stuff," said Rafter. "He said he did but asked if he was going to get to see any rallies. 'Not today, mate,' I told him."

The Fed fanatics are going to go berserk again like they did when Roger wasn't named SI's Sportsman of the Year.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

Hi Tangerine, is it the Bully thread that made you start posts in talktennis.com ?

Why would I post at TW just because of a thread posted here?

So wow, you figured out that "tangerine" was me all by yourself? Shit. I didn't think anybody would know it was me posting as "tangerine" over at the TW boards, what with the same web link in our sigs and all.

I sure hope nobody catches me posting as "tangerine" over at the tennis-x boards too, otherwise my cover will be blown over there as well and I would just die if that happened.

I don't suffer fools lightly so yeah, if that makes me a bully so be it.

Federer didn't win this one, this situation should be new for him.

Um, not quite, my dear. This is actually old news, and if you look in the Fed forum, no one went beserk.
