Re: Niki Pilic

I think he will stay for 2006 and Goran will become captain in 2007.

Niki said he will take some time to think about that.

Best of luck to my favourite players:

Marin Čilić Ivo Karlović Ivan Dodig Borna Ćorić

Rafael Nadal Juan Martin Del Potro Tomas Berdych

Proud supporter of Dodig / Melo in doubles

Re: Niki Pilic

First captain to win Davis Cup with 2 teams. Is he thinking of a 3rd team.

The current greatness league of active players in order of achievements to date (a factual comparison rather than fan biased assessment):

Federer 17 GS, 6 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.
Nadal 14 GS, 27 Master Series, 1 Olympic Gold.
Djokovic 9 GS, 4 Year End Masters, 24 Master Series.

Pilic helped Boris Becker to carry his sport bag an water bottles. So one can say he took his part in Germanys Davis Cup triumphs 88 and 89.

Re: Niki Pilic

he has coached 3 Wimbledon champions! Becker, Stich and Ivanisevic, and even though he was a great player he earned a lot more money as a coach!
