With due respect to your countryman, this is no great shock considering the head-to-head. The last time they met there was a bagel set for Nalbandian at the US Open, and he's obviously been in pretty decent form recently...

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

Oh sure, I meant I saw a couple of images and Nalby was playing really confident and good enough to beat anyone on court (Gaudio, Feña, etc)

I could only go on monday, and it was amazing! He was sooooo happy and signed lots and lots of autographs. What he did yesterday was great, and I was about to enter the stadium again and buy some tickets (I work two blocks away from there), but I was so tired that I decided to watch it on tv, but now I regret it
Congrats David!

I'm perfectly well aware of their head-to-head, but it's still overwhelmingly in Nalbandian's favour, and he was up a set and a break in that Cincy match before completely collapsing.

Re: Vilas Cup Final - Nalby d. Gonzo 6-2 6-3

Gonzo should ask Hingis to play mixed doubles. He need some tips of touch. Nalby loves Gonzo's power
