Slovak people are great!!!!!!!!!!

This Davis cup finale was played with great support from both Croatian and Slovak fans. They were both very fair and the atmosphere was great. At the end Slovak fans had one big message written on paper saying: Congratulations Croatia from Slovak fans! Also during Miroslav Mecir speach Croatian fans were so loud shouting: Slovakia, Slovakia. All the people I know that were in Bratislava said that Slovakia is a great country and they all had great impressions!

That banner was really nice.
Although I'm happy that Croatia won respect to the Slovaks!

Could it be possible that they dont even know who is playing whom?...lol...
No Federer, no Hewitt and no Agassi, guess not really a ticket selling event, is it.
Oh well, good job reaching the final, dont think they are gonna come close anytime soon.

Re: Slovak people are great!!!!!!!!!!

Amazing, isn't it - perhaps the crowd just managed to draw upon a little of what's in your username. I suggest you do the same, you bleating star-dependent imbecile.

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

I think a home country knows exactly who is playing on their Davis Cup team even if the the country was in the middle of no where.

So, of course, Switzerland, Australia, and the USA should be the only countries to participate in Davis Cup because they have famous players. Every other country won't recognize their own national players, despite buying tickets to go watch and support them. Your logic is utterly infallible.

I am a fan of Federer, Gasquet, Baghdatis, the long-deceased Safin, Youzhny, Nalbandian, Rochus, Tsonga, the sadly-departed Santoro, and good, hearty, competitive tennis matches. The quality of my life does not rest solely on who wins these matches. In fact, I would even go as far as to say that I can live quite happily after a player I like chokes, mugs, bashes, or otherwise succumbs to a loss.

Why is it whenever there is a thread where people appreciate a commendable attitude or a nice gesture of respect there is always someone who tries to spoil it?

You are just getting more brilliant as they days and nights go by.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

The Argentine players and fans said very much the same thing about the Slovaks after their semi-final there. Many congrats to the Slovaks fans and their players for being so fair and sporting - respect to all of them Thanks to tennismaster882001 for starting this thread...........as for Tennis-Passion - what a blinkered fool
