Fed/Agassi and history in 2006

Now that 2005 is over, i can do this

Federer by winning Roland Garros and/or tying Agassi in Grand Slams
Agassi by surpassing Jimmy Connors for all career Top 10 finishes

Re: Fed/Agassi and history in 2006

It is highly possible that both will do it...

I see Agassi retiring at the US Open....and if he wins it off a good season then he can finish top 10 for sure.

It is somewhat unthinkable that Fed will not win a slam next year...

Re: Fed/Agassi and history in 2006

Federer winning the French Open would certainly propel him into being one of the greatest players of all time. He would join Agassi as the only player to win 4 grand slams on 4 surfaces. Few players have won all 4 grand slams in their career.

Another thread here says who is greater Sampras or Federer; a win in Paris for Roger would probably make the poll a formality.

Andre will accomplish it. He trains so hard and so intelligently.

Agassi longgevity is the better achievement but they are both great.

The ATP deserves a better class of player, and I'm gonna give it to 'em - Djoker
