Roger gives the crowd a show

Seems like Roger wanna give the chinese crowd a show, that's why he is losing the 2. set on purpose to make it more interesting to watch

We all know that Roger can easily serve Coria two eggs

Really, what the hell is going on there? Federer losing a set 1-6 to Coria on "ice?" Is Federer okay?

Safin Gasquet
Ljubicic Moya Mirnyi
Robredo Nadal Gonzalez Ancic

Fed should have had lost 0-6...he will probably win the third 6-1 or something like that

This match is not that important...Fed could give Coria a win in the masters at least...poor Willy

If Roger gives anyone a win at Shanghai then he won't match John McEnroe's best season run ever at 82-3. I think Roger wants to match that record and win Shanghai.

Re: Roger gives the crowd a show

You`ll have to ask Roger where did he go, because he was not oncourt during the 2nd set.

Re: Roger gives the crowd a show

The scorline is decieving, Roger sat out until last last 2 games in the second set. Supposedly Coria was just hitting to the other side of the court by himself. He still got a couple of UE errors though

I am very happy Rogelio won and saved all his records.

To tell you the truth Dan, I sincerely wished Coria would bagel him back in the second set for being so irritatingly careless and to reward Coria's brilliant play on a lot of points. Bageling the world's #1 (I really don't remember when was the last time anyone did it or when he was last served a breadstick) would have been a compensation for not winning a match.

Anyways, Argentine's hopes are still very much alive.

Re: Roger gives the crowd a show

Coria might have gotten a set off Federer but there is no way Federer wanted to give him the match. He neds to keep his streak going.

Now that he has played a fool in a non-consequential match I sincerely hope that come next business day he will be doing some serious cleaning of the Shanghai courts with whomever's on the opposite side of the net.

I also took from the match that Fed's feet must be doing well or he wouldn't have extended hmself to three sets. With no disrespect meant to Guille I think Fed just wanted to make the match longer for the fans' sake. Apart from that, tho, he 'has' lost the second set in every match so far due to lack of concentration, so only he knows what was really going on there. I just hope he gets down to business now and wins this tournament.

Proof again, that Coria is awesome. Bow to his greatness.
