Get rid of the year end finalies

The year end finalies were instituted just to make more money allaround.
2 mil was too much for players to resist.
They will of course keep it. I am not naive.
But it would improve some things.
You would have a nice off season. Players (top) could lie on the beach and recuperate.
Might reduce injuries and burn-outs
This goes for both the Men and the women.

Re: Get rid of the year end finalies

Don't get rid of the year end finals! I would even reinstall the year-end Grand Slam Cup as I'm really missing that competition!

Carlos --- C'MON Lleyton!!! --- Kiwi!!! --- Jürgen --- Juan

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy

Its more actually
The winner himself takes 1.5 mil
The rup, and others get quite a bit (all aside from the appearance fee)

Total prize money last year (Houston): Prize Money: $3,700,000

Add inflation for this year, and lets say $4mill on the 8 guys, not bad for a few Round Robins!!!

Yep.... see, its worth showing up just for the Photo-op and then withdrawing. Get to tour Shanghai, nice hotel, nice business class air trip, some crazy outfit to take home, plus a nice 90K

It is also nice to win the damn thing of course!
