Giant - killer Flanagan on the rampage - beware!!!

So, a year after defeating the Poo and Hanescu at Queen's, Flanagan finds himself confined to qualifying for satellite tournaments

This week he qualified and has now reached a shock QF place after defeating the in-form Martin Lee in 3 sets...

...Flanners is back and on the rise!

Oh my god how did this information get past me. That's probably the best news I've heard this year.

Ian is on the rise, and will reach the summit at Wimbledon next year

I still remember news crews following him around after that Philippoussis win and talk of "the next Henman"

How wrong they were, Ian has easily surpassed anything Tim achieved

I notice that my old coach Neil Bamford (my claim to fame ) is still in the draw.

Vamos Ian

"I always knew I was good enough, to be honest" -Flanagan's immortal words one year ago, as presented to us by the BBC. Indeed, we now know just how good he is.

Beware! A certain someone may come in here and tell you all those you're just losers stuck behind a keyboard, and Flanagan is touring the world playing a game and getting laid at will!

Andreev - Cilic - Dolgopolov - De Bakker - Djokovic - Gulbis - Haase - Hrbaty - J Johansson - Kucera - Kuznetsov - Russell - Simon - Sweeting - Thron

Dominika Cibulková

The way he has been playing, the only laying he has been doing has come at the hands of his stronger opponent

When Flanagan beats Koubek as such illuminaries as Lisnard and Mackin have, then he will be the true force that tennis in the UK needs.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
