Perhaps Nadal should get his colleagues to not dope. If they were all not doping, they wouldn't need testing. but there are always one or two (or more) that are going to get away with it, so this is what they have to do.
It's not like tennis or sports are the only places where the measures are drastic. Lots of places treat potential cheating like they're guilty. In law school we can't even go to the bathroom unless we sign out, and we had to fight like hell to be able to have a bottle of water at our feet during the exams (which are sometimes as long as 4 hours.)
These guys make millions, I have no sympathy for them if they get woken up once in a while to make sure they're playing fair.
