Federer, Roddick, Agassi and Ljubicic playing the Kooyong Classic

http://go.reuters.co.uk/newsArticle..../uk/tennisNews

Ljubicic confirmed for Kooyong tournament

MELBOURNE, Nov 7 (Reuters) - World number eight Ivan Ljubicic will play at the invitational Kooyong Open next January, organisers said on Monday.
Croatia's Ljubicic joins world number one Roger Federer, American Andy Roddick, Germany's Tommy Haas and Argentines David Nalbandian and Guillermo Coria for the tournament in Melbourne from Jan. 11-14.

Two spots remain open in the field for the round-robin tournament, which precedes the Australian Open, the year's first grand slam.

Ljubicic lost the Paris Masters final to the Czech Republic's Tomas Berdych on Sunday.

He has qualified for the Tennis Masters Cup in Shanghai, which begins on Sunday.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

So Agassi's not sure if he'll play Kooyong.
Doesn't he always use it as his warm-up event for the Aussie Open?...

Agassi should be there, as long as he is playing the AO.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Federer, Roddick, Ljubicic playing the Kooyong Classic

Kooyong tournament directors have left a spot untouched for Agassi. He has that spot until the last minute. If he plays Aussie Open he'll play Kooyong. If not, Australian Scott Draper will be drafted in as a last minute reserve.

There have been discussions with Safin, Gasquet and Dent for the last spots.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Attended it twice, but I am not going next year.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Re: Federer, Roddick, Ljubicic playing the Kooyong Classic

Agassi is confirmed.

Since Gasquet I think is in Sydney for that week, it will be interesting to see who gets the last spot.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Federer, Roddick, Agassi and Ljubicic playing the Kooyong Classic

I just wonder who the 8th player will be, it might be Safin, then again there are enough players around and available.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".
