Kolya
on his way to Masters

LMAO at Dmitry
broke strings in 3 racqets, had to use a cracked frame racquet, borrowed one of his coach's racquets.

Re: Davydenko Def. Tursunov 3-6 6-2 6-3

Did Kolya secure his Masters Cup spot with this win?

He's got 418 points right now for sure. With Safin oficially withdrawing from Shanghai, there are 8 top spots that will play in Shanghai. Kolya is 7th with these 418 points and the only ones who could catch him are Gaudio and Ivan. Let's imagine the situation that Kolya losts in the next round and stays with 418 points. And let's imagine the improbable final Ljubicic - Gaudio. If Ljubo wins he will have 446 points (6th place, Davydenko 8th) and Gaudio will have 415 (9th). Gaudio wins he'll have 445 points (6th place, Davydenko 8th) and Ljubicic will have 416 points (9th).

That's the only option. Kolya is in Masters providing that Safin withdraws.
