PHM def Gonzo 6-3 3-6 7-6(4)

Awesome effort from Paulo a few nerves towards the end, but he pulled it out. Great job.

He's gonna win this tournament, mark my words

Can anybody that saw the match tell me how it went? Judging by the live scores it looked like Paulo definitely deserved to win.

If only I could have seen it... But yes... following the SB it seems he was leading the whole third set.

Et dire que j'ai quitté Bercy à 3/0 Gonzalez ds le 2ème set

Well, he WON that's fantastic, at tie break ! Wow !!!!!!

First set was a class act by PHM. He played awesome tennis.
Second set he choked just as he´s used to . Nothing new .
Third set , very closed, PHM holding serves easier than Gonzo .
Final set tb. KEY POINT was the first one. Clear df by PHM that would have given Gonzo a 1-0 and minibreak . PHM from there returned unbelievably good and got the victory. He deserved it, to of the biggest chicken brains in the ATP TOUR.
Congrats PHM , after so much suffering in front of your home country it looks like you´re smiling again .

I watched the match on tv and both were great! this is the best match that I have seen in Paris this week
Gonzo at some moments looked tired and PHM obviuosly took advantage of that
I love Gonzo but I think the way they both played PHM deserved the win
