Lol is that even a contest, Gasquet can hit more than 3 backhands in succession.

Everything considered: Roger. His backhand is fantastic and only looks bad because of one special moon baller.

Game over. Forever.

Re: Better backhand...peak Federer or peak Gasquet?

Maybe Fed's cause he used it so well consistently, Gaske's BH obviously had much more potential, but he's satisfied with 3-4 good BH winners in a match while moonballing.

Haters in ruins.

Is this a thread to disclose hidden Fedtards?

Federer. Back in the day, It was solid. Gasquet's BH is just flashy.

If by peak Federer you're talking about the TMC final versus Blake then....still Gasquet.

This notion of peak doesn't really cut it for me, anyone can look good against a particular opponent.

Re: Better backhand...peak Federer or peak Gasquet?

In this particular case, the issue of peak or not peak is really completely irrelevant.

debatable really. imo Fed's is better, but i can see why there could be a case for debate.

Re: Better backhand...peak Federer or peak Gasquet?

Federer's duh, with his slice backhand his overall peak backhand was miles better than Gasquet's. Gasquet has a better top spin backhand though.

Peak karlovic, imo.

But seriously, Federer's is superior in that its an effective rallying shot against everyone not named Nadal. Also his slice is often overlooked.
