ANDY RODDICK is the only player to have won multiple titles each of the past 5 years

People wathcing the sport tend to overlook some of the Andy's accomplishments. Sure, he has had trouble winning big matches and big tournaments during the past 2 years, but he has had a very successful run in the past 5 years overall. One can say he has underachieved and I certainly believe so, but that doesn't lessen the things he has actually achieved
.
The accomplishments of King Fed dwarf that every other one of his comtemporaries which tends to make fans overlook some other player's accomplishments, but Roddick can be proud of 5 solid years.

Here's a list of some of the players who have made a big impact during the 2000's and how many tourneys they have won in each of the decade's years.:

No problem Prabu.

I think I'll try and find out how many players have ever won 70+ matches in three consecutive years next. Federer has done it three straight times now along with his 29 titles during that span.

Re: ANDY RODDICK is the only player to have won multiple titles each of the past 5 years

It´s really weird that Andy can play well in small tourneys and wins them, but he sucks in the big ones. He hasn´t won a big title since early 2004 and it would be good for him if he could end this title drought with a win in Paris. Still I doubt that this will happen and I wouldn´t be surprised if he already loses in the first few rounds.

P.S. I know that Lleyton hasn´t won any big title since early 2003.

True - though he is always there abouts, but runs into Federer or a red hot Safin

If it wasn't for Federer and Hewitt, Roddick would probably have had at least two or three more Master's shields and at least one Wimbledon title.

If Federer by himself was not around, Roddick would probably at least 2 Wimbledons. But that's the wya it goes in sports.
