Santiago Giraldo has his own thread in the Chicos Latinos Forum - don't know so much about the others you mentioned though.

I saw Luisi play Donald Young at Wimbledon, he's got a nice game, reminds me of Alberto Martin in his style.

Del Potro is a bigger talent, as is Leonardo Mayer. Emiliano Massa might be good too. Dabul, to me, doesn´t seem that special.

Re: what do u think about this south american prospects?

Santiago giraldo ,Brian Dabul ,Pablo Cuevas, Jorge Aguilar , Piero Luisi ,Bruno Rosa

Hello everybody,
Pablo Cuevas is one of the best young players, he'll definetly have a wonderful carreer. Only this year he has made extraordinary progress, from 800 to 400, it is something when you are only 19 years old. He's very cute and devoted to tennis. You can't enjoy watching him. I have never seen such a nice and easy game like I see at him, he seems he plays for pleasure and not for points or money. When you look at him you think: "Tennis is so easy..I have to play also". He is supported by his coach Roberto and he is practicing in a big club in Buenos Aires even though he was born and lives in Salto, near Montevideo. If you want to find out more there's a threa: "Uruguayan players" where we're discussing about Pablo and about another young Uruguayan hope: Martin Vilarrubi.

Jorge Aguilar is young and has the power to be in the best players in the world. Unfortunately he does'nt have the necessary financial support. He has talent and streangth to go on, but he also has to have a strong background to help him in his career. He was a young Chilean hope winning many national titles. This year he conquered Romania, playing over 10 weeks Futures and succeeding in obtaining great results. He was beaten only in the last round or he won the tournament. Another Chilean player, who desires to have a prolific career is Felipe Parada. He has a strong game and determination. His only problem is that he had many health problems, right now he is fighting with an old leg injury. Jorge and Felipe are good friends and great double partners.

Let's keep our fingers crossed for all these young and talented players

Re: what do u think about this south american prospects?

yeah JMDP is popular andcool so is Santiago Giraldo (OK I know he's not popular but I try to hype him a bit also hehe)

Mariutze did a great job posting about Pablo Cuevas and Jorge Aguilar.

Luisi is playing now in Venezuela's futures. Let's see if he doesn't become second Szymanski.

Brian Dabul admires Marcelo Rios, his dad is a tennis coach and Brian was no1 in juniors, but he's the oldest of the mentioned, he was born in 1984. I've heard he's not nice.... for players and for the crowd. But never seen him played.

Bruno Rosa can be this kind of Brazilian who will reach the top 100 in next 2-3 years. People from Brazil believe in him. He has got the coach who is better known than him, since it's Larri Passos .

And you will die...
