Hopefully this is the beginning of a beautiful partnership.

Because such a small group of title candidates makes the sport boring, predictable and unwatchable.

What Novak did in 2011 is precisely the opposite: we have a new number 1 after 7 years, we have another multiple slam winner after 7 years. So was tennis even more unwatchable before? Or maybe what makes it unwatchable is having Nole winning slams and breaking the duopoly, not the predictability of the sport?

I'm a Federer fan but I enjoyed the 2001-2003 transitional era more from a tennis fan point of view.

Still, don't you think it's a tiny bit ironic?

Let's see how they click together. Imagine Murray winning his first slam at W, the only slam that had eluded Ivan.

Re: Player/Coach Changes (Ivan Lendl working with Andy Murray, yes it's true)

about time...

The People Who Brought You the Annual "Going Out of Business" Sale

20-something girl: So, I guess we are now officially corporate hos.
30-something man: Yeah, so now you have to learn to play tennis.
Girl passerby: What does that have to do with anything?
20-something girl: Then we can be corporate hos and tennis pros -- duh.
30-something man: We should do commercials... Why don't we work for an ad agency?!

I wish him the very best though because the tour needs a serious slam contender SO BADLY since Del Potro can't keep his body in shape for a single tournament.
I'm worried about Del Po- he gave such a heroic effort in Spain only to come up short, after basically throwing away his post USO season. Other than Murray winning slams, Del Po becoming a major contender again is something I most want to see for the coming year.
