Working with Lendl or not, Mugray will still remain a clown of the highest order.

Confirmed on Andy's facebook account:

Very happy to announce that Ivan Lendl is my new full time coach. His impact on the game is unquestionable and he brings experience and knowledge that few others have, particularly in major tournaments. Happy New Year

Andy Murray appoints Ivan Lendl as his new coach

Britain's Andy Murray has appointed former world number one Ivan Lendl as his new full-time coach.

Lendl, the winner of eight Grand Slam events, will start work immediately.

Murray said: "Ivan's impact on the game is unquestionable and he brings experience and knowledge that few others have, particularly in major tournaments."

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Good for Andy for finally getting one, and someone high-profile at that. However I have a strong feeling it's not going to work, has Lendl ever coached before?

Will Federer regain the #1 spot and break Sampras's record for most weeks at the top?

Roger // Rafa // Raonic // Söderling // Goffin // Ivo // Wawrinka // Baker // Delpo

Re: Player/Coach Changes (Ivan Lendl working with Andy Murray, yes it's true)

Great. Now it's up to Andy to listen. Even if Lendl tells him to stop screaming at himself. Even if Lendl tells him to completely change his gamestyle. Even if Lendl tells him to play the Sacramento challenger.

So someone recently informed me that my sig was empty. Said I needed a life affirming motivational quote by a positive role model like Einstein or Oscar Wilde...

Great tip to stay fit and mobile: If you run up and down the stairs two steps at a time at least once daily, there will never come a time when you can't do it. Until of course one day you mistime a step, collapse and break all your bones... That would suck. But you had a good run.

Maybe smart move from Murray. We will see.

What really surprises me is Lendl taking the job.

makes sense, judy quit to accept the role in LTA.

ASI Director-General Gautam Sengupta said the list of India's treasures held abroad was "too long to handle" and there was a need for a "diplomatic and legal campaign" for their restitution from institutions, including the British Museum, the Royal Collection and the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.

It's funny that this ended up being true way after people thought it was going to happen. I liked the idea then and still do...I hope something comes of it.

I support a lot of mugs.

If Murray can learn anything from Lendl is his assassin instinct.

Really?

At the beginning of his career, Lendl was thought to be a choker and someone who lost his nerve in big matches. Some pundits wondered if he had the internal fortitude to win a GS. However, he learned to be mentally tougher, and became, arguably, one of the most mentally tough players.
