A hot candidate is Fidde Rosengren, who coached Norman and later Mario Ancic.

Though I hope they will continue working together, as they are a real dream-team and Magnus helped Robin with so many things.
I am very sure Robin wouldn´t be the player he is today without Magnus...
I wish you were right guys, but I'm afraid it's gonna happen. That a thing isn't official doesn't mean it's not true. My sources are rock solid...

Re: Unconfirmed: Söderling and Norman go separate ways

I'm really sorry to hear about this even though it's understandable that Magnus wants to spend more time with his family. It's good that he will still be involved in tennis with the tennisacademy.

We have seen how successful the working relationship between Robin and Magnus has been and I think Magnus didn't only helped him to become a better tennisplayer but was also good for Robin's personal development.

Hopefully Robin will find a suitable new coach with whom he can continue the great work of Magnus.

Good luck to both of them

How is that big news? It's just a coach ffs. Soderling is a man who knows what he has to do.

Oh, Rosengren would be a good choice then, he hasn't been with anyone after Mario? And as Mario is probably not going to come back any more.... seriously I mean....
Rosengren helped Nieminen for a while too or am I completely wrong?

Re: Unconfirmed: Söderling and Norman go separate ways

That's sad news for Soderling. I really think Norman did a good job there, significantly improving Soderling 's style of play. I even think he helped him having better personal attitudes than those he used to have. But who knows, he might end up having someone to make it better to the next stage. Good to hear, Magnus 'll still be in contact with tennis though.

If this is really true that Magnus and Robin will split, I absolutely agree with you that Fredrik Rosengren would be a great choice! If he wants to travel the tour again, because I remember he split up with Mario before he got injured as Fredrik also wanted to spend more time with his family.
As far as I remember Fredrik worked at the local tennis center in Växjö the last years.

And you were right about Nieminen as well. He helped him when Magnus had his hip surgery many years back

Tommy Robredo David Ferrer Pere Riba Fernando Verdasco

Pico Monaco ~ Edu Schwank ~ Stan Wawrinka ~ Dani Gimeno ~ David Marrero ~ Marc Lopez ~ Marco Chiudinelli ~ Marcel Granollers

I miss you on tour, Nors, Bjösse, Simon & Pim Pim

Re: Unconfirmed: Söderling and Norman go separate ways

Intriguing. Rosengren would most definitely be able to help Söderling improve even further on many technical things, but other than that I don't really know how well they'd work together, or if Fidde is even interested.

I remember the instant and obvious improvement with Robin's focus in Stockholm 08 when Norman came aboard the team. Whatever happens next, I'm overjoyed with everything they have achieved together.
