This will only work if Stan's last coach dies in a car accident Seriously though hope Stan gets it together, the tour needs good clay players and nice aggressive games like Stan.

Re: The Changing of the Guard-Coaching Changes

Adrian Voinea is working with Blaz Kavcic now.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Miles Maclagan to coach Philipp Kohlschreiber

It will be fascinating to see how this one pans out..

Source: BBC SPORT

"Andy Murray's former coach Miles Maclagan is to return to work with world number 31 Philipp Kohlschreiber, BBC Sport understands.

The German player has been ranked as high as 22nd in the world and has reached the last 16 at the Australian and French Opens.

Kohlschreiber thrashed Murray 6-2 6-1 in Monte Carlo in April.

Maclagan teamed up with Murray in 2007 and helped him to reach two Grand Slam finals before losing his job in July.

The 35-year-old is a former Great Britain Davis Cup player and reached a career-high world ranking of 172 in 1995. "

Thoughts, opinions? The big question is, what is Maclagen able to bring to Kohlis game?

Re: Miles Maclagan to coach Philipp Kohlschreiber

Interesting news - I wondered if Miles would find a decent appointment post-Murray.

Wonder what he can do with Kohli though - good player, bit of a headcase though.

Re: Miles Maclagan to coach Philipp Kohlschreiber

I don't know what MacLagan can improve in Kohlschreiber's game but the German for me is definitely the best active player (both mentally and technically) who hasn't reached Top 20

He's also not a top 5 player/grand slam finalist like Murray - I'm sure Kohli would love to have the ability to "push" like Murray.

Very interesting news though. Glad that MacLagan is getting some good work as a coach, but I'm not sure how he will set about improving Kohlschreiber tbh. I'll definitely keep a closer eye on his progress.

Re: Miles Maclagan to coach Philipp Kohlschreiber

During the DC-match today it was said, the connection is not yet fix. Kohli is considering to take MacLagan as coach, but still there is nothing signed. BBC is a bit fast.

What about him? He still occupies his position as Murrays part-time coach.
