Wow Ron, you went out of your way to find a Piggy smilie
That was such a nerve-wracking match to follow on the SB. Can someone who watched it tell me how the hell Rafa blew a 5-0 lead in the TB?
Anyway, well done Rafa

I guess he's playing through the pain. Hopefully Ginepri will end it all tomorrow. I'm glad he's doing well outside the USA.

Nadal got very tight, and Stepanek kept putting in good first serves to keep him in it. It was very nervy by both from about 4-4!

Please stop referring Nadal to a pig. It's not right. He does not even come close to resembling a pig. It's just ridiculous and mean. What if Nadal came on line and saw this. It's not a joke....it's just mean spirited.

Thanks. Why would he get that tight with such a big lead, that's uncharacteristic

Ignore people like him, they don't realise how anyone could like a player other than Federer.

For the record, it was an extremely good match. Stepanek played his part in a high quality encounter. Congrats Rafa on the win.

Despite what you may believe, RonE is not the stereotypical Federer junkie that you would like to paint him as. We can debate the merits of Nadal's porcine nickname, but I wouldn't try and use the argument that it's hurting his feelings. I think the millions of dollars in career earnings and the international adulation will provide ample recompense.

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

Put it this way, if I posted a Federer score with a similarly "generous" nickname I'm sure he would respond to it.
