adn now i went to go play
and i forgot how to do what he showed me.
Im new and i suck so he just went over basic forhand and backhand topspins
theres nothing i can do huh?
I guess this was a pretty pointless post
To get topspin the strings of your racket have to brush up against the ball. The higher angle with which you brush up, the more topspin there will be. Just try to swing straight up at a ball and if the ball spins a lot then you have achieved topspin. Then from there you can judge how much you need to bring your racket up to produce the topspin for your liking.

I guess Roddick must be the greatest player to ever play the game.
