Smile Your tennis schedule

What do you do on a daily basis? Whats your schedule regarding tennis?

Do you go with your friends one day, and play with a coach another? Do you play a tournament one day? Do you play on a sattelite? Go to a clinic?

Also please mention your experience and expectations... for example, do you plan on becoming pro? Or just playing for fun?

Thanks!

Re: Your tennis schedule

I don't have a tennis schedule anymore. I haven't played in ages. When I was active, I'd play matches with friends about 4 days a week.

Re: Your tennis schedule

during the summer I play about 4/5 times a week, either practicing hitting around at the club, or screwing around with friends that really blow at tennis.

now that it's getting colder, and our club doesn't have an indoor court, i rarely play.

Re: Your tennis schedule

When I played Tennis in High school, I would have practice five times a week, four during the week, and one on saturday. Although, now that Im out of southern california, its hard to find tennis clubs or anything so I haven't played in awhile

I would have 2hrs 30mins of team practice, where we would do our doubles pracice, our running, and tennis drills, four times a week. Then we would rally with a partner for an additional 30mins after practice.

On saturdays, we (my sister and I) would do 1hr 30mins of tennis drills and such with and instructor and then for an additional 30 mins we would do light training with a medicine ball, foot work and such.

I could never turn pro. I wasn't allowed to play any sports until I got into high school, so I barely started tennis a couple of years ago. I just play for fun

Re: Your tennis schedule

Oh yeah, and during the summer I would just have two team practices a week, doing the same things and 2 classes with my instructor, also the same

Re: Your tennis schedule

Well I play at school so every day during the week I have either 2 hours of practice or a match. Then I sometimes have practice on Saturday and I also just have a private lesson every Saturday with my coach. Then also on Saturday and Sunday I practice on my court with either my parents, the ball machine, or just serves or something.

Re: Your tennis schedule

Currently, five days a week, for about an hour. Once in a while I'll play a tournament, but otherwise I'll get a call from somebody who wants to hit, or wants a lesson. I actually prefer the lessons, because it keeps my mind focusing on what I need to do as well. It's what keeps me fit, seeing as how I like to spend as little time away from home as I can, now.
