Juan Ignacio Sampras? What was with that blink and you'll miss it service game in the second set, three aces in four points? Mind you, if Henman can't even beat Chela on hardcourts now... he has problems, to say the least.

The Wit and Wisdom of the Tennis Journalist, Indian Wells 2004

ROGER FEDERER: Yeah, I remember this one time when I went on a vacation on the Maldives. That was in the year 2001, I think. I went to this spa. I went to walk around with my girlfriend. I walk in, and we want to book a spa. This guy goes, "AHH, I remember you. You beat Sampras. I saw you on TV." That was like, really, how can you remember me? This guy has probably never been off his island and still knows me. I was a little bit shocked. Then I went to play tennis with him because he was actually the tennis teacher. It was nice.

Q. Were you naked at the time in the spa?

ROGER FEDERER: No. It was at the front desk. I didn't walk in naked.

This is definitely Black Wednesday!
Nalbo loses, all 3 Brits including Tim lose and England get hammered 4-1 by Denmark in the footy.
Congrats Chela.

Well done Juan!!!

But I do feel sorry for Tim. Even when I never liked or disliked him, I guess this is beginning to be painful to his fans...

Thanks. It has been painful all year long.

He already does. Daddy.

And I think he's comfortable with that.

I'm not trying to say players can't be parents, it's also part of moving on with life. Happens sooner or later. Tim's "later" is already here, I think.

I love my girls.

Oy, Tim. :retard:

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

Tim, this is getting just a tad bit... . If you want to retire and play golf, please go ahead. :retard:

Congrats to Chela.

Q. You must have so many different emotions going through your head. Was it like a rollercoaster for you?
STANISLAS WAWRINKA: Yeah, yeah, it's quite crazy..I never expect to win a Grand Slam.
I never dream about that because for me, I was not good enough to beat those guy.

Maybe the sky will fall?
