Re: fantasy doubles match

My personal opinion is that younger Agassi could have beaten Nadal on hard courts . Particularly his defensive shots would have been much more effective if he were younger and had fresher legs . That being said , I happen to think Sampras and Agassi would win this fantasy match but I can't speak for everyone . Sampras would have put away any of Nadals looping top spin shots with his classic serve and volley approach .

Do Sampras and Agassi even know how to play doubles?

Re: fantasy doubles match

Tactically, they probably would have no clue what they're doing but it would make for an interesting debate .

Re: fantasy doubles match

Federer is just a natural at doubles, and Nadal has proven to have really good hands and be pretty tactically sound on the doubles court. Most importantly, he has played it a lot.

Federer/Nadal would win, no contest.

Re: fantasy doubles match

Obviously Agassi would be staying back most of the time , but Sampras has better hands at the net then Roger or Rafa . I still think it's not so obvious as you think .
