Stefan Edberg - very recent photos

Stefan Edberg appeared in New England on 7/16 and
7/17 in an exhibition to raise fund for the Gullikson
Foundation.
I was lucky to be there and posted a writeup and
photos at this site:
http://www.geocities.com/edhead01us/smash.html
Stefan is looking great and seems very happy.
He is still playing tennis at a very high level,
but has no plan to play on the Champions tour.

You are most welcome.
Thanks for visiting the page; it makes me happy to share my good fortune with others who appreciate Stefan Edberg.

As you may suspect I am a huge fan, and, like others, I had waited in vain to hear about Edberg for a long time. I finally realized that if I were to get to see him again at all, I had to take things in my own hands, and hence the trip to the Cape Cod event, at which the photos were taken.
I do have a site,
http://www.geocities.com/edhead01us/
on which I collect tidbits of news found on the web and elsewhere. In particular, there is a link to a page I found:
http://hem.passagen.se/knae/edberg/stefan_repotage.htm
about an exhibition held in Sweden in 2000, in which Edberg played Vincent Vinciguera - including links to lots of photos.
Cheers,
M. L.
