Kyrgios thankfully takes it more seriously. He hit that shot at 40-0, monfils would've hit it at ad-out

That should have been a point lost on first serve

He can't even put a FH away. Dull is too in awe of his opponent here.

Yeah, it's one of his weaknesses. But he has the serve, the forehand, pretty solid backhand, he will improve.

The kid needs to stay VERY focused. He is losing it a bit now.

If Rafa loses today, that's it. I'm done with tennis.

Kyrgios still rock solid. But he needs to win this set if he wants the match.

Nadal makes his opponent wait for serving..it's really sick !!

Nadull will never win a match on his own talent !!

Re: 2014 Live commentary thread vol. 17

Not really much changed from the first set tbh, other than Kyrgios' first sevre dropping a bit. Nadal still isn't coping with the hitting, Kyrgios still appears to have that fantastic self-belief.

Dangerous little period for Nadal now.

Dull looks a bit shellshocked. Missing some routine shots. Kyrgios could easily get a break chance if he can string together some returns for once
