From Tarpishev's interview few minutes ago.. Apparently the knee procedures didn't go well..

That would be horrible; but, at least he isn't rushing back like in 2003. The last thing he needs is to damage it more.

If it's true, it isn't that bad idea. Marat shines at indoor season and i don't want hm to rush anything

Let's hope Marat Safin has better doctors than Lina Krasnoroutskaya had. But so far not so good. What looked to be a glorious year for Safin is turning into an injury riddled year.

One thing is for sure, it's very hard for very tall tennis players to stay healthy.
