should agassi retire after the final?

i'm betting he'll win the LA tournament.. what better than to go out on top?
this is probably about as close to the "top" as he'll get from now on

he will win one of the Masters, and probably on US OPEN he can retire.

Oh hell no. Let Andre decided when he wants to retire. It's his life.

Best twitter posts of the epic match:

@dougrobson - Whoever is supplying Mahut with hair gel needs to ink a sponsorship deal now.

@Wimbledon - FYI, with @Wimbledon live scoring devices, please add 50 to the games in the fifth set of the Isner v Mahut match.

@HolterMedia - Nice to see that a three-day test has come to tennis here @wimbledon.

He'll make it to the semifinals/finals of the US Open. It wouldn't do his career any justice to retire prior to the biggest slam of the year.

This is a bad attempt at a troll.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Eh no.

How many times must we of shot nerves witness the undoubted pain & suffering of muppets everywhere before we stand up against the cavemen??

One muppet, who wishes to remain anonymous, has this to say: "You know, I uhhhh cannot stay all the time at the you know, base of the line. Too much uhhhh pression."

It is your turn to help - The "Save A Muppet Foundation" needs you!

Re: should agassi retire after the final?

Why would he do that? If he is healthy, he cab beat anybody on a hardcourt other than Federer. If he is healthy going into the USO, nobody will want to see him on their side of the draw. The chances are that he will never win another big title again but that is the way 99.9% of players leave the game. Sampras was a very unusual exception. Borg was an unusual exception going away after a year in which he made the finals in all 3 Grand Slams that he played in winning RG.

Re: should agassi retire after the final?

he'll definitely still go on to play the us open... he's still a big threat on hardcourts... he should retire only when he wants to retire...
