Battle of Umag: Coria vs King of Umag Moya?

Who will win the Umag crown?

Can Moya turn it around and win the 5th Slam according to him or will Coria get his title run under way for 2005.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I want Carlos to show Coria why he is Mr Umag, but Coria will be too tough.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

The most likely result.

Re: Battle of Umag: Coria vs King of Umag Moya?

Coria in 3 sets, just because it seems like he's been enjoying these as of late. He did weak up for a nice straight-set win with a bagel for a spaniard ex-RG champ, so.. who knows?

I'm happy to see these two in the final, perfect final for me (unless Guga or Robredo played against Coria, but that wasn't possible so..) and more so seeing Moya doing well again, but Coria should win a title on clay this year, he's been amazing (RG aside ¬¬).

I hope Carlos wins, he's already an Umag legend, so it would be nice if he won another.

Damn, no Volandri or Novak in the final = I don't care. But I see no reason why Coria shouldn't continue with his masterful ownage of Moya. When's the last time he lost a set to his bitch?

That would be great and very good odds as well.

Re: Battle of Umag: Coria vs King of Umag Moya?

Moya in three sets I really hope, like George said, just to show Coria that he's MR Umag. It's HIS tournament here, he can't loose.
I hope just that Coria is not in a very very good shape.

Buena Suerte Carlos, you can do it !!!

Re: Battle of Umag: Coria vs King of Umag Moya?

It's seems Mr Umag has taken the lead in the poll. I have to say I am surprised, even though I know there is not a lot of weasel love around here.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

Re: Battle of Umag: Coria vs King of Umag Moya?

As if beating Moya the last 3 times on clay wasn't enough - not dropping a set in the process.

Coria will want to avenge his lone 2 final losses of '05 to Nadal and grab a trophy while he can.

6-4 6-3

Moyá's draw was rediculously easy aside from Ferrer. Even then, he ate a bagel and handed out numerous BPs in the 3rd set.

Coria had to beat three accomplished clay courters and a hometown qualifier.

This could get real, real ugly like a WTA tour final.
