This is how he plays now, nice to see some of MTF bothering to watch him.

this could have really helped milos gain ground in the race to the YEC too . however even with this he's still about 700 points behind 8th ranked dimitrov.

He must improve for tomorrow though
Must be nice to be a psychic, you must do well at the racetrack.

not all the time. it seems he raises his game for the top guys but he still doesnt play anywhere near as he does against them against everyone else.he didnt even play that well against nishikori or bolelli..even tsonga

it seems nadal, djokovic, federer and murray bring out a level in him no one else can...especially murray

For all his returning prowess, Nole does seem to struggle more against the bigger servers. Guys like Fed and even Murray seem better able to put them in the akward mid-court on return.

That said, huge performance from Raonic....his groudie reliability and movement are really coming on....he can moosh the ball. Things heating up on tour!

As we have seen, as well as Nadal's, Novak's opponents choke too. So..

Re: Rome SF: Djokovic def. Raonic 6-7(5) 7-6(4) 6-3

Raonic making an awesome account for himself. He wasn't just servebotting, (and he never really is when I watch him play), but his serve was there for him in crucial moments. Beating Murray, taking sets off both Nadal and Djokovic? I think his top 10 ranking is justified. Novak had to dig deep.

As a random aside, the crowd seemed to be firmly rooting for Novak, especially at the end. Heartening to see.

First set: Novak was the better player and lost
Second set: Milos was the better player and lost
Third set: Novak is just a better player

Kudos to Milos though .. Great match for him
