You do a great job with all the stats and records, NYCtennisfan. Thanks for the good stuff.

"What kind of shape am I in now? Well round is a shape." said Roddick with a laugh. "I had a very detailed retirement plan, and I feel like I've met every aspect of it: a lot of golf, a lot of carbs, a lot of fried food, and some booze, occasionally — I've been completely committed ... The results have shown."

Re: In honor of DAVID NALBANDIAN, the record for most tournies won without dropping a

I didn't believe you about borg and the 1978 RG stats. But seeing the actual results really puts in perspective how absolutely insane his domination at that tournament was:

(Note: Borg's matches are listed first for each round, presumably because he was the top seed?)

Sick!

Congrats to David I must admit I'm not a stats person so I had no idea about this. It was nice of you to share it

Losing just 19 games! Surely that hasn't happened in a while!

17 (yes, yes, yes!) Slams! And counting....

Losing just 19 games is amazing. The last time I believe that it happened was in 2003 in Stuttgart when Coria did it. There was also a best of 5 final in the last match which made the run more impressive.

Coria d. PHM 7-5, 6-3
Coria d. Ferrer 6-1, 6-1
Coria d. Youznhy 6-0, 6-0
Coria d. Flopez 6-4, 6-0
Coria d. Robredo 6-2, 6-2, 6-1
