Re: Muller def. Nadal 64 46 63 64

What did I say - Nadal has no chance against grass court specialists, it was so obvious in his first match against Spadea.

He was even lucky not to come in hands of better player, such as LLondra for example, who would humiliate him.

Nadal is a clay-courter and it will remain extremely difficult for him to achieve anything on Wimbledon.

And those who said he had a great run should have their's heads checked, realy!

Well, guess Rafa has to wait at least a year before becoming a new Borg. Pity.

in love with an idiot

The bottom half of the draw is really opening up for Roddick. Practically no one left. Its starting to look like Grosjean will make another wimbledon semifinal.

Nadal Should be proud as hell though. He has had an amazing run. Now comes the tough part. He can't go back to play clay events this summer like last year. Its time to go against the big boys.
He is playing the clay events after Wimbledon. Why shouldn't he? He'll still play the masters series in North America.

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

Nothing special, fine, I suppose...

Him being a lefty meant nothing of Nadal's usual lefty crap could make any impression on him, and everything Piggy tried came back at him twice as hard (which is not to imply it was exceptionally hard )

I can't wait until he proves people who say things like this totally wrong!

Took Borg two years after winning his first French to win Wimbledon.

And Borg will go down as one of the best in tennis ever.

He's only 19.

Give him a break.

And grass is an irrelevant surface anyway....MOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!

I assume the great run reference were refering to his season so far - not his grasscourt season.

People who think that he's already good as he's ever going to be are the ones who need their heads checked. There are few things more silly than people who think a 19 year old Grand Slam Champ has stagnated.

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

I saw the stats, someone was right, 1 out of 13 in terms of break chances, thats not good.

he's still young, so many more wimbledons to play still. he probably needs to adapt to the faster surface.

Re: Muller def. Nadal 64 46 63 64

Well, Nadal has improved his serve dramatically. Last year at the USO against Roddick, he was serving the 1st serves at about 102-108 mph which of course is quite weak but I think he might've had an injury bothering him. He is serving much harder now, but the second serve is still a weak spot.

I didn't see the match but I see that Nadal was 1/13 on BP's. Did Muller play really well on those BP's or did Nadal just not convert? This is the first time in a long time that Nadal didn't win the big points.

Or a 22yr old Grand Slam Champ for that matter. (Andy Roddick)

My day would be completed with a Roddick upset
