A really overall good match, especially how he managed to stay in the first set despite Beck seemed to have the edge in the returning games as he returned Mark's serve pretty well and his first serve points won percentage was only about 50% I guess.
Strong serves, determined and offensive play, good volleys.... That's how grasscourt tennis has to be celebrated and exercised
I didn't see it completely, but what I saw was very entertaining for me!
Bad luck for Beck that he didn't get a more ordinary first round match up. For my taste he was beaten under value today and couldn't show that he was a better player than the bare scoreline would suggest.
