Is anyone else a Baghdatis fan?

I think he is thrilling to watch with a magnetic personality and an attractive game. Sure he could lay off the chips a bit but why hasn't he made a bigger splash?

Before there was this, there was nothing, and anything was possible.

I think he's great. I love his happy spirit on the court. It's infectious and makes you want to smile along with him

<Puts hand up> Yes, it's a shame Marcos has been injured a good part of this year. After the AO I was expecting him to break into the top 50 by now. I'm just hoping he's not playing at the same time as Roger on Monday so I can go and watch him.

Marcos is very popular. A pity injuries have prevented him from getting more results.

I've been a fan sicne i watched him qualify for the USO last year.

I lack direction.

Chocking makes me sad.

How do you think he is chubby? Just cos he's not anorexic.. What a joke.

I know he's been injured, but what injuries has he had? I didn't really keep track

Airhead in my opinion ... saw a eport on him two years ago on Eurosport. Very moody guy who is so naive ... he thought just because he was no.1 junior he would be no.1 in the seniors as well!

I love his game and loved watching him at the USO last year. I think he he hadn't been injured, he would be in the top 25 right now.

Re: Is anyone else a Baghdatis fan?

Great player to watch

Great personality (his celebrations and attitude are not annoying like nadal for example, there is something special about him ).

He is also quite funny on court, great entertainer. Reminds of surbiton, they were calling out the oop and when they called out his name he waved his arms in the air only me and his coach were there watching lol.

Re: Is anyone else a Baghdatis fan?

Baghdatis is absolutely awesome. Some of my best memories watching tennis are with him, where he totally surprised himself and the crowd by hitting running forehand crosscourt winner after winner against Federer in the Aussie open. And then he plays with his fans in the crowd by having them all raise their hands in sync with him. And he's so good too! Definitely the funnest guy to watch and an awesome personality. I hope he never changes and still makes it big!
