Oh oh, Mark is starting to find his way...don't tell Roddick!! SHHHHHHH!!!

'I'd like to be in his shoes for one day,' says Mats Wilander, 'to know what it feels like to play that way.'

Re: Philippoussis Def Sanguinetti 7-6(3) 7-6(1) into SF

ok even i can admit the win wasnt that great... he needs to be alot sharper on his volleys and he still isnt coming into the net as much as he should. he use to chip/charge almost every opporunity but today he made the mistake of playing from the baseline. when he did choose to chip/charge he was good. serves were ok, but not great either, needs to pick up first serve percentage. he admitted he lost concentration in the 2nd which is silly, but to his credit fought back and played solid in the tie breaker...

theres still heaps of room for imporvement, but he needs these matches regardless of quality. hes been out so long hes lost his timing and confidence, so with every match it will help for next week... i still think he's holding back, hes doing what he has to to win but i dont think he's pushing himself too hard.

ok my summary is done, but im loving the fact he's back on court and he does look good. he's definately been hitting the gym!

GO MARK!!!!!!!!!!

Why would he care? He wouldn't have to face him til the finals at Wimby. Marat might care more, though

Anyway, hooooooray flip! Now he just needs to stay healthy

Good win for Mark. His match with Marat better be on Center court.

Re: Philippoussis Def Sanguinetti 7-6(2) 7-6(0) into SF

I'm hoping for Philippoussis to take the title now, he's quite a very likable player for me and it would be awesome for him to win a title after struggling so much the last time

And I like his normally high risk play and that he is looking to decide the matches being offensive.

Best of luck to all Germans : Nicolas Kiefer | Rainer Schüttler | Lars | Florian | Tommy
