Probably. It could've been one step at a time though -- they would never meet unless both are successful on their sides of the "deal". Also, there is still a chance Janowicz could win against Berdych IMO -- for some reason Berdych has problems with Raonic who is a big server while Janowicz IMO is a big server that has good touch somehow. It could still be close, IMO.

Janowicz is not playing Dubai sadly.

Dunno about DImi.

Mark Lenders banged your girlfriend, I'm sorry to tell you that mate.

Dimitrov will be playing Acapulco. Janowicz will play Marseille and then take a week of rest before IW I guess.

We are biding our time. Waiting for the perfect moment to strike. We'll be out in full force when he loses to Berdych.

Would prefer if JJ skips Marseille and plays another 500 to gain points, Acapulco seems a good choice but oh well. I guess players are tied to what events they play based on their management company at times. Jerzy is managed by the French company Lagardère so I guess this is why he plays a lot of the French events.

It probably makes more sense to keep playing indoor but Dubai or Acapulco would have helped prepare him for Indian Wells and Miami where he barely scraped through that Nalbandian match, lost badly to Gasquet and had that horrific match against Muglucci

Needs more preparation for those big events IMO

Expected result. Tommy should learn a bit from this week... nah, he obviously won't. Roll on Delray

Well done JJ, good results of late. Shame we couldn't watch this.

Tommy Haas

Roger Federer - David Goffin - Stan Wawrinka - Jerzy Janowicz - Dominic Thiem - Lleyton Hewitt

Nieminen - L. Mayer - Delbonis - Del Potro - Berlocq - Djokovic - Tsonga - Melzer - Karlovic - Murray - Kohlschreiber

ST [Rank: #31 / Best Rank: #31] [Titles: Kuala Lumpur 14' - M1000 Shanghai 14' ] [Wins: Australian Open 15' Montpellier 15']

Well there is more points on offer in those events and especially if he was seeded in one, not sure if he could be, he could make a decent run. But we will see.

Don't be too sad, Pablo. One day he'll get a brain implant, I promise.

It's only a guess, but I'm betting Acapulco will be a very slow hard court, in the mold of IW and Miami.

Re: Rotterdam R2: Janowicz def. [6] Haas 6-4 6-4

he probably feels the best indoors anyway his open hc results have been the worst so far

also it's easier to snatch first title in an international, it's just tough shit marseille has a line up of atp 500

on topic, good to see him beating another higher ranked player i don't think he'll beat berdych on shape, but he took berdych to 3 sets last year so it doesn't have to be one-sided (btw, this is when jj haters will crawl out of the cave in case you've been wondering)

I will burn
And you will die...

Well that was never in doubt, even though there is no shame in losing to Berdych, haters will make some shit up. Expect Hypnotize to be back after she was no where to be seen since DImi's loss

Yep, some of them even shamelessly admit it, that they use this rat strategy.
