Andy Murray d. Taylor Dent 6-3, 6-3

Well done Andy

I know this is not a huge result and British players always come up with a decent win here and there during the grass court events but I think Andy is the real deal and not only is he British, he is Scottish which is something Scottish fans haven't had before. He played really well. Good luck in round 3 Andy

Re: Andy Murray d. Taylor Dent 6-3, 6-3

He is only Scottish when he loses and British when he wins.

On Nadal bumping him on the changeover, Rosol said: "It's ok, he wanted to take my concentration; I knew he would try something".

Wilander on Dimitrov - "He has mind set on imitating Federer and yes it looks good. But he has no idea what to do on the court".

I know exactly what you mean. When Greg was suspected of using stimulants, the word Canadian suddenly popped up all over the place....

I am Scottish but hope all the British players do well but it is nice to see someone from Scotland out there who looks like he can really do something on the tour. We haven't had that before.

Glad he got a good win, because if Taylor is going to win grass is a tough surface to beat him on!

In fairness to Dent he wasn't at his best and the commentators mentioned he hasn't played much recently. Andy Murray did play well though. It wasn't just a case of Dent playing badly. Of course the British press will blow this out of proportion (Ian Flanagan was the next Tim Henman last year after beating a slumping Philippoussis) but Andy was a lot more impressive. He looks like he has the ability to do well on the tour and it didn't feel like a fluky win for a British player that often happens during the grass season.

Alfonso, most people think he's ugly.

I think it's pretty cute, but I'm one of few.

Re: Andy Murray d. Taylor Dent 6-3, 6-3

he hit some great passing shots

but dent has to get in shape, i mean, the guy has to lose at least 20 pounds in order to be able to compete with anyone inside the top200 at this point. his game is too physical for him to be so out of shape
